Walk in through the front door of the Bay and put your watch back 50 years. Although the former hotel (and war-time internment block!) has had the equivalent of the national debt of a small country spent on it, the pub looks as if it has been in suspended animation since the1950's! Three welcoming open fires in the winter in the heavily wooded bar, lounge and smoke room offer a refreshing change from the all too prevalent chrome rave pubs. Summertime, offers the chance to experience dramatic sunsets, sat outside, with a pint, on the prom.
The charming, atmospheric, beachside pub clings on to the traditional values of good service, fine beers and excellent (award winning) food. There is wide a selection of Bushy's Beers and guest ales new to the Isle of Man on sale, as well as a large selection of Belgian Beers ranging in strength from 4.5% - 12% ABV at competitive prices.
